I have not been travelling for a while so I thought I would introduce you to one of the family's favourite place to go for Dim Sum!

Located at 02-01, Jalan Kenari 18, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Puchong, Puchong Jaya, 47100 if you are waze-ing your way over (Waze is a popular GPS/sat nav application on smartphones).

We picked up the usual Dim Sum that we know we will enjoy as we find that food is a comfort and personally I tend to go for the same things if I already know that I like it.

You do not have to worry, the man does come round and round so you can always replenish on food. No need to order every single thing at one go!

Obviously some of us are more keen on the food than the rest of us, but you can have a little chilli sauce on the side like my mum. It's my personal preference to have a little bit of chilli too!

Let's not forget about the all important tea! You can pick the tea leaves you want in general. It then comes in a pot and you usually get 1 extra teacup, so if there are 4 of you, there should be 5 cups. You will then have to rinse all the cups with hot water added to the teapot. The first round of tea tends to be poured away, so using it to rise the teacups is almost a useful way around it.

Then, someone will have to volunteer to pour the tea and then be designated tea person.

It's one of my favourite Dim Sum!

Some of the other typical Dim Sum you can expect, will come in little bamboo holders and containers.

These are actually called "Phoenix Claw" but they are basically chicken feet. I am terrified and personally do not enjoy the taste or look or anything about them. My mum likes them. If you are brave enough to try it, you should!

Now, there's also a rice option because.... come on. It's Chinese food, of course there is going to rice!
Yuen Garden Dim Sum House |
This is actually the glutinous rice and it comes in a bowl. You will have to get the rice out and it's not too difficult, don't worry.
Yuen Garden Dim Sum House |
Make sure you get everything out as there are bits of meat, and mushroom in there. So yummy!
Yuen Garden Dim Sum House |
The mushroom is actually the best part of it, and there's only one, so you heard it here first if you're trying this out for the first time!

YUMMY!

That's all I have for you today, and I hope you've enjoyed the first food/restaurant post. Just for laughs, here's a picture of my mum really tucking into her food. Before you laugh at her, you must note that the only way to have chinese food, is to completely tuck in!
